However, I can also run an Aux 1 and Aux 2 R/L mix to the keyboard amp/speaker if needed just to be sure I capture both the L and R parts of the signal. I'm fine with sending a mono signal to that speaker if needed, since no one would notice the stereo part anyway in this configuration. What I'd like to do is simply route the Aux Out channel from the L/R mix to the keyboard amp/speaker and control it with a fader(s) on the board, but it won't let me do that. I've tried every routing trick I can think of with no luck. It just runs direct to it, and the only way I can control it is to go over to the physical speaker and turn the volume up and down. It works now, but the problem I have is that I have no control over the volume. So what I've been trying is running a cable from Aux Out 1 (TRS) to the keyboard amp/speaker. I might also sometimes run mainly bass to this speaker just to give the sound more bass, especially when a client is in there listening and doesn't get why the monitor speakers don't have that full, bass sound. The monitor speakers aren't really for that, of course, and I like to save them for recording. I'm trying to send a separate signal out to a big keyboard speaker just for times when I have a band who wants to rehearse and hear a big sound (this speaker is 300w, and has lots of power and bass) before tracking, or for any other time I might just want to jam in the studio. So now I can control my monitor speakers with the main L/R fader.

#Behringer x32 aux out routing how to#
I was having trouble sending the mains (outputs 15-16) out to my speakers without any control over the volume until I figured out how to send the signal pre-fader instead of post (not sure why it defaults to "post"). I have done a lot of figuring out on my own using YouTube videos and web sites like this one, but now I have a question that has me stumped. I am using it in my studio, and have no plans to use it live. I have recently purchased a Behringer X32, moving over from the analog world, and it is an amazing machine. This is my first post, but I've found information on this site for years, so thanks so much for all you do.
